Richard, thanks for a look behind the scenes.
We know this was heavily edited, however it was interesting to see that not once did you directly interact with any technology - phone, PC etc..
What it did show is that people and ‘relationships’ are important.
    Thanks for sharing
    Mike

    Dear Richard,

I love your little movie. It goes very fast, have problems to follow you.

This morning I watched the Norwegian TV chanel (NRK1) and it was a danish program about wimen and Test-tube babies. You just need a cup Richard and Playboy.

Is that the reason you runs so fast around, that they shall not get you Richard. They wants your sexy sperm for a Test-tube baby. That is nice Richard.

We have a big Test-tube clinic in Haugesund (you know where Ryanair is flying to here in west-norway). There is a statue of Marilyn Monroe also in Haugesund outside Rica Hotel.

My little son (9 years) has only one homework this week before christmas. That is to measure the temperature every day, and find out which day it rises.

    Have a nice day

Certainly your video, Richard, shows you exactly as I have always imagined your ways and personality. You are quite an exemplary quality british leader, however humble and easy going notwithstanding “Bon vivant”. You tell the people to be humane, to love life, to respect each other and to have fun in whatever one does as daily chores, true recipes for life. Do keep such grand scheme and thanks for sharing.

In Human History comes a Man not from privilige but cut of the right cloth to tell a story first of his businesses and ranking the establishment that were in a new Century of global awareness. First there is Africa of the old despots
dyeing hard and the people who are part of the new global wave and bingo there’s Richard Branson teaching dealing young black children to hold to your dream and never give up.
I am in the gold bullion business across the World I see
Beautiful Countries and poor poor people and that has to change; people have to be free and education is the key not the gun or stone.
TO ALL Merry Christmas and be kind to everyone

    Dear Richard,

Thank you for sharing your day and more your life in your books.
My husband gave me your book “Screw it, Let’s Do it: Lessons in Life” in 2007 and since then something “clicked” in my mind. Finally I had found a life example that business can beethical that there is a place for human feelings and taking care of each other. Since than I start to look for my passion in life I wanted to be like you to encourage people, point out their potential and support them at the same time doing what really brings me satisfaction. After little journey I found what I really would like to do it is - Life coaching.

Thank you for your latest book which gives me so much motivation and encouragement to carry on with my journey to the life coaching.

Now is one more dream left to meet you one day and to do something together like Virgin Unite project to make this world better.

    Thank you for being you.

    Best wishes,

    Diana

Richard, you’re amazing, as ever - what impresses me most is your inner JOY, exudes out of everything you do. Work is Play and Fun, just as it should be.
And if you ever feel the urge to write another book, just call me, I’ll type it up for you :-)
May 2009 bring you lots more of the same!

    Hey guys,

I’m the guy who you saw at the book-signing in this clip wearing a blue shirt and tie (I pop up at 2.50 and at 3.30)claiming Richard said I can take over Virgin when he retires(!)

Wanted you all to know he is just as humble in person as he appears on the camera. He took the time to ask us all what we did where we were from, as oppose to not really caring and treating us as a production line of fans wanting our books signed like most successful people would.

Top guy, great role model. Richard if you read this at any point, well done and keep up the fantastic work :)

When I grow up, I want to be Sir Richard. He smiles all the time, has fun and genuinely enjoys life. All the best.

I just love the technology which enables this sort of stuff (i.e. the video diary).
To me, I observe how people think (or how they are not thinking very well).
At least this video diary links into business whilst much social media is fruitless…not that a bit of inane chatter does any harm…it just doesn’t do much good.
Whilst my take on things, my perceptions, may not amount to much, at least I am always thinking how things could be improved. I like to think that I am well-informed - thanks to all media, especially books.
Put it this way: the business world could do with a few more Richard Bransons.
    Rock on.

    Success ingredients in any environment:
Energy, enthusiasm, warmth, high interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence.
Great to watch Richard in action.
